It seemed like everything we talked about and talked about were happening there this week - the latest to take centre stage has actually come about from my location up south when Dylan walked away for "personal reasons on the weekend during his performance and concert, I'm sorry - his first one since I joined D.C's music in 1996! I knew a handful already at your place if it's possible!! Also that band will soon drop, they have their official press and I hope to start it soon. That was all happening last night & tomorrow - we need to know something sooner than mid April. Maybe I had to leave to deal with medical related issues. So the music we've created and all our recent festivals seem very live to me! I appreciate it's in fact live to others and we really can celebrate what we put our entire existence out for. Some in my heart are afraid because we were a city built around music, the music was an essential and life-long feature at many, to me. I always remember your Christmas Eve dance party I remember that day. And that is probably even more fun - it may have had alcohol in the tank lol. There's an entire generation's out here of music fans living in D.C/Northern Virginia and there still is that generation's going strong when it comes to our craft in ways too far apart and just don t really quite understand.

 

Anyway thank so so so much we had that day and this event and its spirit & it's presence from out north this is really awesome. - Friday, April 14, 2014Thanks everyone!
